Strasburg and Clarke County are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2018, but likely not for long. The Rams will challenge the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Strasburg is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.

Strasburg will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Wednesday, then bounced right back against Rappahannock County on Friday. The Rams blew past Rappahannock County 11-1. The Rams haven't had any issues with Rappahannock County recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Strasburg let Ava Mayhew and Karaline Brill run wild. Mayhew went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI, while Brill went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave Brill a new career-high. Camille Greco was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.

Meanwhile, Clarke County didn't have quite enough to beat Page County on Thursday and fell 7-6.

Clarke County's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-7. As for Strasburg, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.

Strasburg skirted past Clarke County 4-2 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Will the Rams repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
