Soccer Recap: Helena Wins Going Away Against Gardendale

Helena made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Gardendale, but still couldn't quite topple them. Everything went the Helena Huskies' way against the Gardendale Rockets on Tuesday as the Helena Huskies made off with an 8-0 win. Considering the Huskies' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Their offense was hitting Gardendale from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Henley Havens led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

The victory got Helena back to even at 2-2. As for Gardendale, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Helena wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 6-3 loss against Thompson on the 24th. As for Gardendale, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-1 defeat against Calera on the 25th.
