Football Recap: First Baptist Academy Comes Up Short

The First Baptist Academy Lions lost to the Ida Baker Bulldogs on the road by a 38-21 margin on Friday.

Nikolas Korf had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 242 yards and one TD while picking up 8.1 yards per carry for Ida Baker. Brody Root was another key player, throwing for 130 yards and one touchdown.

First Baptist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Ida Baker, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. First Baptist Academy will challenge Southwest Florida Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ida Baker, they will take on Avon Park at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
