Volleyball Recap: Augusta Prep Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Augusta Prep unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Alleluia Community Angels on Monday. The Cavaliers have struggled against the Angels recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-10, 25-16.

Looking ahead, Augusta Prep will host Gatewood at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup will give the Cavaliers their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Alleluia Community, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Academy of Richmond County on the 12th.
