Pierce entered their tilt with Willows on Tuesday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They blew past the Honkers 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

While Pierce might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Willows scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-18, 25-20.

Charlie Wayman paced Pierce's offense, picking up ten kills. Wayman got some help from Magali Jauregui and her 18 assists. Finally, Rylie Delepierre kept Pierce's defense grounded, leading the team with six blocks.

Pierce's win bumped their record up to 21-7. As for Willows, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 17 of their last 19 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-21 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Pierce is set to challenge their familiar foe Durham at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Willows will take on rival East Nicolaus at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
