Football Recap: Moberly Piles Up the Points Against California

It's playoff time, and Moberly had no trouble coming through when it counted. They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 45-15 victory over the California Pintos. Considering the Spartans have won three games by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Moberly has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 32.2 points over those games. As for California, their defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-9.

Coming up, Moberly will square off against Southern Boone at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. California does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
