Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Abigail Powers and Madison Case Lead Mayfield to Victory

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Northville, Mayfield was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Duanesburg Eagles by a score of 45-35. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 48-33 back in January.

Mayfield was led to victory by Madison Case and Abigail Powers. Case dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten boards, while Powers dropped a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Those ten boards gave Case a new career-high. Kendyl Conyne was another key player, putting up two points and four steals.

Mayfield now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Duanesburg, their record is now 11-8.

Mayfield has already played their next contest, a 47-39 victory against Galway on the 14th. As for Duanesburg, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 34-28 defeat against Johnstown on the 14th.
