The Jefferson Mustangs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 14th straight loss. Their rough 42-18 loss to Lanier might stick with them for a while. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Jefferson has suffered since December 1, 2023.
Ally Barron was Jefferson's leading scorer, having posted five points.
Destiny Duenas took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.
Jefferson has not been sharp recently, as they've lost 17 of their last 18 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-23 record this season. As for Lanier, their win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-22.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Burbank the next time they take the court. Jefferson will head out to face Burbank at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while Lanier will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
