After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Crown Point, Portage was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They blew past the Boone Grove Wolves 3-0. For the Indians, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 defeat the Wolves walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2023.
Portage was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-20, 25-19.
Portage was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Boone Grove only served three.
Despite the loss, Boone Grove saw an underclassman step up: Lauren Voudrie had 18 digs.
