Basketball Game Preview: Perkins Pirates vs. Columbian Tornadoes

The Perkins Pirates will venture away from home to take on the Columbian Tornadoes at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Saturday, Perkins earned an 81-74 victory over Bay.

Meanwhile, Columbian entered their tilt with Bowling Green on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 52-45 win over the Bobcats.

Columbian's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-9. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.8 points per game. As for Perkins, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-6.

Perkins couldn't quite finish off Columbian in their previous meeting on Thursday and fell 71-68. Can Perkins avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
