Unity lost against Stanley-Boyd back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Orioles. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Andrea Erickson paced Unity's offense, picking up ten kills. Erickson got some help from Ella Johnson and her eight assists.

Stanley-Boyd found their leader in sophomore Kendall Sikora, who had six digs and three aces.

Unity's loss dropped their record down to 23-12. As for Stanley-Boyd, the win (which was their 19th in a row) raised their record to 37-3.

Coming up, Unity will face off against St. Croix Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Stanley-Boyd, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran on the 11th.
