The Lindbergh Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Hazen Highlanders at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Lindbergh can't be to happy about their upcoming road match considering what happened when they opened their season on the away from home on Tuesday. They lost 5-0 to Mercer Island.
Meanwhile, Hazen was able to grind out a solid victory over Interlake on Tuesday, taking the game 3-1.
Hazen hit Interlake with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Avie Dombroski,
Taylor Kickbush, and
Marissa Aoki.
Lindbergh beat Hazen by a goal when the teams last played back in September of 2022, winning 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lindbergh since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
