Football Game Preview: Rappahannock Raiders vs. Lancaster Red Devils + How To Watch

Rappahannock has gone 8-2 against Lancaster recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Raiders will welcome the Red Devils at 7:00 p.m. Rappahannock will be strutting in after a win while Lancaster will be coming in after a defeat.

Rappahannock will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any points last Saturday, then bounced right back against Colonial Beach on Friday. The Raiders simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Drifters 63-14. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by 38 points or more this season.

Rappahannock had a senior duo take command as Kenneth Madison rushed for 142 yards and a pair of TDs on only six carries and Cj Kelly rushed for 68 yards and one touchdown. Madison has become a key player for the Raiders: the team is undefeated when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise.

Rappahannock was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 244 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Colonial Beach only rushed for 16.

Meanwhile, Lancaster scored the most points they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They lost to Westmoreland on the road by a 42-23 margin. The Red Devils' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Rappahannock's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Lancaster, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Everything came up roses for Rappahannock against Lancaster when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 47-15 win. In that matchup, the Raiders amassed a halftime lead of 47-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
