Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Layton Barhorst and Donna Foster Lead Anna to Victory

Anna hadn't done well against Jackson Center recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Rockets put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:two sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-15, 26-24.

Leading Anna to victory were Donna Foster and Layton Barhorst. Foster had 16 digs, while Barhorst had eight digs. That's the most digs Foster has posted over her last four games.

Anna has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Jackson Center, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9.

Anna didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Russia on the 18th. As for Jackson Center, they have also already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against New Knoxville on the 22nd.
