Basketball Game Preview: Cosby Titans vs. Manchester Lancers

Cosby is 2-8 against Manchester since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Cosby Titans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Manchester Lancers at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Back in December of 2024, Cosby came up short against Glen Allen and fell 61-49.

Meanwhile, Manchester was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Monday as they fell 59-55 to Monacan. While losing is never fun, the Lancers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 109th, while the Chiefs are ranked 32nd).

Manchester's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-4. As for Cosby, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
