Volleyball Recap: Briarose Aspden and Braley Boucher Secure Win for Fairhaven

Fairhaven entered their tilt with Dighton-Rehoboth Regional on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Falcons. The Blue Devils have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Falcons, too.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 29-27, 21-25, 25-14.

Leading Fairhaven to victory were Braley Boucher and Briarose Aspden. Boucher had 15 digs and four aces, while Aspden had eight aces and four digs. Those eight aces gave Aspden a new career-high.

They weren't the only good server: Fairhaven was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 24 aces. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their ace total in four consecutive matchups.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 5-2. As for Dighton-Rehoboth Regional, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Coming up, Fairhaven will head out on the road to face off against Seekonk at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Dighton-Rehoboth Regional, they will face off against Southeastern RVT at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
