Park Hill South is a perfect 4-0 against North Kansas City since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Panthers will host the Hornets at 4:00 p.m. North Kansas City took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Park Hill South, who comes in off a win.

While Park Hill South didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They had just enough and edged out Raymore-Peculiar 7-5. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Park Hill South.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 11 runs the game before, North Kansas City was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They fell just short of Winnetonka by a score of 2-1. The Hornets haven't had much luck with the Griffins recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Nathan Krueger was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed six innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits. What's more, he gave up only one walk, the fewest he's had since back in April of 2024.

At the plate, North Kansas City saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aaron Campos, who went 1-for-4 with one double and one RBI. Drake McLaughlin also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Park Hill South's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for North Kansas City, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.

Park Hill South came out on top in a nail-biter against North Kansas City in their previous matchup back in May of 2021, sneaking past 7-6. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Hornets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
