Softball Recap: Warren Central Gets the Win

Warren Central took a 13-run loss the last time they faced off against Anderson, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Warriors came out on top in a nail-biter against the Indians on Friday, sneaking past 3-2. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 17-4 win the Indians walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Warren Central saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jordan Warbinton, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double. Those three hits gave Warbinton a new career-high.

Warren Central's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-6. As for Anderson, they dropped their record down to 2-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Warren Central will venture away from home to take on Guerin Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Anderson, they will host Richmond at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
