Soccer Recap: Springfield Southeast Comes Up Short

Springfield Southeast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Quincy Blue Devils, falling 5-0. One thing that sure didn't help Springfield Southeast was the trouble they got from the refs, as Craig Efe-Nogo and Chase Winters were both handed red cards.

Springfield Southeast's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3-1.

Looking ahead, Springfield Southeast will head out to challenge Williamsville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Quincy, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 2-2 draw against Beardstown on the 29th.
