 With a playoff game on the line, Ira rose to the challenge  on Friday. They put the hurt on the Morton Indians with a sharp  11-1 win. The  victory was just business as usual For Ira, who after 19 games remain undefeated  this season.
  Jeren Pena made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Pena has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in five consecutive pitching appearances. Pena was also big at the plate,  scoring four  runs while going 3-for-3.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Kaden Castillo, who  went 3-for-4 with four  RBI and two  runs.  Aedyn Claxton was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs while going 1-for-2.
 Ira's win bumped their record up to 19-0. As for Morton, their loss dropped their record down to 14-7.
