Greenfield/Northwestern moved up to 291 from 353 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Western Illinois Valley - South. The Tigers climbed the ranks as a result of defeating Pleasant Hill/Western 34-6.
The Wolves lost to Greenfield/Northwestern 34-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Carrollton's Jacob Smith and Cole Brannan have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-9 quarterback Smith has thrown for 244 yards this season, while Brannan has 4 catches for 101 yards. Pleasant Hill/Western's Corbin Edwards leads the league in rushing yards with 206.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Carrollton takes on second place Pleasant Hill/Western. The Hawks topped West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] last week, while Mike Giles' team lost to the Tigers.

The Wolves scored 6 points last week as they fell to Greenfield/Northwestern.
North Greene led Western Illinois Valley - South in scoring this week after putting up 35 points on Calhoun.
