Mart is 8-2 against Riesel since September of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Panthers will head out to face off against the Indians at 4:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Mart barely beat Hubbard the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Panthers blew past the Jaguars 3-0 on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Jaguars: they've now won three in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Mart took every set by at least 25 points. The final score came out to 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Meanwhile, Riesel hadn't done well against Bremond recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Indians walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Tigers.

Riesel had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 14-25, 25-21, 25-18, 25-23.

Mart's record now sits at 15-16. As for Riesel, their record is now 21-16.

Mart came up short against Riesel in their previous meeting back in August of 2023, falling 3-1. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
