Softball Preview: Rancho Cucamonga Cougars vs. Chino Hills Huskies

The Rancho Cucamonga Cougars will look to defend their home field against the Chino Hills Huskies at 9:00 a.m. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Rancho Cucamonga can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent contest on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 15-9 margin over Los Osos. The victory was just what Rancho Cucamonga needed coming off of an 11-1 loss in their prior matchup.

Chino Hills got a massive performance out of Lianna Ferrara, who scored a run while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. Kyler Del Duca was another key contributor, scoring a run while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.

Rancho Cucamonga has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-10 record this season. As for Chino Hills, their win bumped their record up to 11-9.
