Basketball Recap: South Rowan Raiders vs. North Iredell Raiders
South Rowan had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They had to suffer through a 84-44 loss at the hands of the North Iredell Raiders. South Rowan's defeat continues a trend for the team, making it 24 in a row dating back to last season.
Several Raiders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jadon Moore, who posted 11 points. Carter Rohletter was another key player, scoring 12 points in addition to two steals.
Even though they lost, South Rowan was working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in December of 2023.
South Rowan will be playing at home against A.L. Brown at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for North Iredell, they and South Iredell are set to duel on Friday.
