Northwestern Area entered their tilt with Milbank on Saturday with 11 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 12. They came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wildcats also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2017.

Northwestern Area's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ella Boekelheide, who had nine digs and two aces. Another player making a difference was Tara Blachford, who had nine digs.

Northwestern Area's victory bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Milbank, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.

Northwestern Area wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Castlewood on the 27th. As for Milbank, they will welcome Webster at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
