Softball Recap: Blue Island Eisenhower Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Blue Island Eisenhower's offense. They came up short against the Richards Bulldogs on Monday, falling 16-0. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Cardinals' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Blue Island Eisenhower has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 16 of their last 20 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-19 record this season. As for Richards, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 18 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record this season.

Blue Island Eisenhower will face off against Evergreen Park at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Richards does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
