Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Shepard). They put the hurt on the Hillcrest Hawks with a sharp 15-2 victory on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Astros in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now won eight in a row.

Shepard's victory was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-2. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Hillcrest, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Shepard has already played their next match (against Riverside-Brookfield), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Hillcrest, they will challenge Argo at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Argonauts will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Hawks surely won't give up without a fight.
