Soccer Game Preview: Copperas Cove vs. Bryan

The Copperas Cove Bulldawgs will challenge the Bryan Vikings at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Copperas Cove took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Killeen. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Copperas Cove were the better team in the second half.

Jadiel Guerrero and Joel Bibian scored both of Copperas Cove's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Meanwhile, Bryan sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Madisonville last Tuesday.

The victory was their first at home, bumping their record up to 2-6-2. As for Bryan, their record now sits at 2-3-1.
