Soccer Recap: Petersburg Takes a Loss

Petersburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 8-2 to the North Marion Huskies. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Vikings were already down 6-0.

Caden Ours wasn't going to let North Marion walk away unscathed as he scored both of Petersburg's goals, bringing his season total up to eight goals.

Petersburg's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for North Marion, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2-1 record this season.

Petersburg will face off against Berkeley Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Marion, they will welcome Fairmont Senior at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
