Basketball Recap: Hazel Park Takes a Loss

Hazel Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 62-23 loss at the hands of the Lakeview Huskies. The Vikings were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-9.

Hazel Park's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Harmony Hays, who posted nine points.

Hazel Park's record is now 1-4. As for Lakeview, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Hazel Park will be home for the holidays to greet Roseville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Roseville's defense has only allowed 28.5 points per game this season, so Hazel Park's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Lakeview, they are taking a road trip to square off against Utica Ford at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
