Baseball Recap: McGregor Comes Up Short

McGregor came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 22-3 to the Troy Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-5 back in March.

McGregor has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8-1 record this season. As for Troy, they pushed their record up to 20-2 with the win, which was their tenth straight on the road.

While McGregor had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
