Ticonderoga waltzed into their contest on Sunday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Peru Nighthawks by a score of 9-6. The Sentinels have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Nighthawks, too.

The team relied heavily on Gabby Yaw, who went 4-for-5 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Munson, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Ticonderoga's record is now 14-1. As for Peru, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-3.

Looking ahead, Ticonderoga will challenge Bolton Central at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Peru, they will head out to square off against Saranac at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
