Meanwhile, after soaring to 12 runs the game before, Advance was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They fell just short of Oak Ridge by a score of 3-2. The matchup marked the Hornets' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Caleb Henson was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Having lost for the first time this season, Advance fell to 5-1. As for Scott City, their victory bumped their record up to 7-0.

Everything went Scott City's way against Advance in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, as Scott City made off with a 14-1 win. Will Scott City repeat their success, or does Advance has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
