Soccer Game Preview: Central vs. Springstead

Central is 0-10 against Springstead since January of 2020 but things could change on Monday. The Bears will face off against the Eagles at 5:30 p.m.

Central lost 5-1 to Nature Coast Tech on Wednesday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Central were already down 4-0.

Meanwhile, Springstead kept a clean sheet against Hudson on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cobras. Considering Springstead have won four matches by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Springstead, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0.

Central suffered a grim 6-1 defeat to Springstead in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Can the Bears avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
