Fayetteville-Perry had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They put the hurt on the West Union Dragons with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Rockets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Their offense was headlined by Christina Murphy and Tegan Combs, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Maya Murphy and her 27 assists. Finally, Christina was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high seven blocks.

Fayetteville-Perry's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for West Union, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.

Fayetteville-Perry didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Felicity-Franklin on the 8th. As for West Union, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington on the 5th.
