After a week in which it went 3-1, Griggsville-Perry jumped from 470 to 417 in the national rankings, the biggest increase in the league.

Pleasant Hill's pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing 35 hits and 43 walks to lead the league in both categories. On the season, the Wolves have allowed just 135 hits, while striking out 126 batters. Matt Gunterman leads the Wolves with 43 strikeouts in 35 innings.

Pleasant Hill, the league leader in stolen bases this season with 84, added to its lead in that category with 17 more steals over the past week. Manager Brian Delp is giving his players opportunities to steal, and Brett Cox has racked up a team-high 18 stolen bases for the Wolves.
