Basketball Game Preview: Nelsonville-York Buckeyes vs. Trimble Tomcats

Nelsonville-York and Trimble are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The Nelsonville-York Buckeyes will be playing at home against the Trimble Tomcats at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Nelsonville-York has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Nelsonville-York turned things around against Meigs on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 56-20 victory over the Marauders. The Buckeyes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 28 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Trimble strolled past Eastern with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 43-24.

Trimble has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Nelsonville-York, their win bumped their record up to 4-8.
