Basketball Recap: Otsego Takes a Loss

Otsego was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 54-45 to the Sturgis Trojans. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Trojans earlier this season, when they won 67-62.

Otsego's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Sturgis, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-15.

Otsego has already played their next contest, a 69-51 defeat against Lakeview on the 18th. As for Sturgis, they will square off against Colon at 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Colon will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Sturgis surely won't give up without a fight.
