Corcoran has gone 8-2 against Strathmore recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Panthers will welcome the Spartans at 6:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Strathmore will be up against a hot Corcoran squad: the team just extended their winning streak to four. Everything went the Panthers' way against Lindsay on Thursday as they made off with a 14-3 win.

Brennan Botill made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single hit and allowed only one earned run while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in May of 2025. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Corcoran got a massive performance out of Cruz Portillo, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with four stolen bases, four runs, and one RBI. That's the most runs Portillo has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Brody Frazier, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, one stolen base, and one double.
Corcoran always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .618. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Strathmore got the win against Summit Charter Collegiate Academy on Thursday by a conclusive 21-5. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Bears recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
Like Corcoran, Strathmore also got a great game from a two-way player: James Giefer. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Giefer has become a key player for Strathmore: the team is 4-2 when he allows at most three hits, but 5-9 otherwise. Giefer was even better at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI.
In other batting news, Dominic Rice was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Strathmore is undefeated when Rice posts two or more runs, but 4-11 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Dre Mikles, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with four stolen bases and two runs.
Strathmore's win bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Corcoran, their victory bumped their record up to 14-5.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Corcoran has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 6 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Strathmore struggles in that department as they've been averaging 5.4 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Everything went Corcoran's way against Strathmore in their previous matchup back in May of 2025, as Corcoran made off with a 10-0 win. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Spartans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
