Volleyball Recap: Mansueto Comes Up Short

Mansueto was the 2-0 winner over The Noble Academy when they last played one another back in April of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Leopards fell just short of the Griffins by a score of 2-1 on Monday. While the Leopards didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Griffins 25-16 in the first set.

Mansueto was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made The Noble Academy work for it, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 25-14, 26-24.

Mansueto has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-4 record this season. As for The Noble Academy, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Mansueto will face off against rival Pritzker at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, The Noble Academy is set to challenge their familiar foe Muchin College Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
