Soccer Recap: Danville Takes a Loss

Danville managed to keep up with Covenant Christian until halftime on Saturday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Danville lost 4-0 to Covenant Christian. Danville hasn't had much luck with Covenant Christian recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Danville's loss dropped their record down to 2-4-3. As for Covenant Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-0-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Danville will head out to square off against Terre Haute South Vigo at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Danville will be up against Terre Haute South Vigo's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.56 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Covenant Christian, they will venture away from home to take on Speedway at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Speedway's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
