South Paulding saw some tournament action on Thursday. They were the clear victor by an 80-56 margin over the Bowdon Red Devils. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 24 points or more this season.

South Paulding has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Bowdon, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

South Paulding will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Pope at 4:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025. As for Bowdon, they will take on Cedartown in a tournament on Thursday. Bowdon knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Cedartown likes a good challenge.
