Softball Preview: West Campus Warriors vs. Valley Vikings
West Campus is on a four-game streak of home losses, Valley a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. The West Campus Warriors will take on the Valley Vikings at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. West Campus is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.1 runs per game this season.
West Campus can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Florin as West Campus made off with a 20-7 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what West Campus needed considering they were shutout in their previous match.
Moriah Williams was incredible, scoring three runs while going 4-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Faith Muhammad, who scored two runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
Valley lost 20-4 to Foothill on Tuesday.
West Campus now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.
