Airport has gone a perfect 3-0 against Lancaster recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Eagles will host the Bruins at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Airport has three straight victories, Lancaster has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Airport is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Ridge Spring-Monetta with a sharp 23-6 win on Thursday. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by eight runs or more this season.
Avery Ingram made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Ingram was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three runs and one triple. That triple was her first of the season.

Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Friday. Airport hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.5 home runs per game. However, it's not like Lancaster struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.7 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Airport skirted past Lancaster 1-0 in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bruins turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
