Soccer Recap: Purnell Swett Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Purnell Swett was not quite Gray's Creek's equal in the second half on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Bears by a score of 1-0. One thing that didn't help Purnell Swett's chances was the red card they were dealt courtesy of Avry Locklear.

Purnell Swett has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10-2 record this season. As for Gray's Creek, their victory bumped their record up to 11-2-3.
