Softball Recap: Bloomfield Hills' Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Saturday

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bloomfield Hills can now relate to. They fell 6-1 to the South Lyon Lions on Saturday. The Black Hawks were red-hot at the plate heading into the contest (they scored no less than ten runs in the three matches prior), but the Lions' pitchers proved too tough.

Bloomfield Hills moved to 16-13-1 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for South Lyon, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-8 record this season.
