Meadowbrook scored the most points they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They lost to the Dinwiddie Generals on the road by a 64-50 margin. The defeat continues a trend for the Monarchs in their matchups with the Generals: they've now lost six in a row.

Dinwiddie's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Madisyn Hurtt, who posted 18 points. Hurtt's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sharodin Belton, who earned ten points.

Meadowbrook's loss dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Dinwiddie, their win bumped their record up to 8-12.

When Meadowbrook and Dinwiddie next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Meadowbrook will challenge Maggie Walker and their three-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Dinwiddie will try to stop Hanover's eight-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
