Paramount is a perfect 10-0 against Dominguez since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Pirates will venture away from home to challenge the Dons at 3:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Paramount has three straight wins, Dominguez has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Paramount's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They blew past Glenn 8-0.
Anthony Rivera looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits.

On the hitting side, AdriAn Flores was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of DaviD Serrano, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.
Paramount kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Glenn only managed five.
Meanwhile, Dominguez lost 16-4 to Cabrillo on Tuesday.
Dominguez saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alexis Hernandez, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base. That stolen base was Hernandez's first of the season. Daveon Brim was another, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.
Paramount's record now sits at 3-0. As for Dominguez, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.
Dominguez's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Paramount has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 8.7 hits per game. It's a different story for Dominguez, though, as they've been averaging 10 hits. Given Paramount's sizable advantage in that area, the Dons will need to find a way to close that gap.
Paramount got the 'W' when the teams last played back in March of 2025 against Dominguez by a conclusive 11-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
