Beacon waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They escaped with a win against the Kingston Tigers by the margin of a single free throw, 53-52.

Beacon's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.3 points per game. As for Kingston, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Beacon will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Fallsburg at 6:30 p.m. on January 30th. As for Kingston, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Kingston Tigers challenge the Warwick Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
