            Volleyball Recap: North Kansas City Hornets vs. Oak Park Northmen        
        
		
        
        
            North Kansas City was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight  defeat. They fell  3-1 to the Oak Park Northmen. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Northmen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  3-0  back in September.
 While North Kansas City had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 22-25, 25-18,  25-21.
 Camryn Minatee paced North Kansas City's offense, picking up 14 kills. Minatee got some help from  Yeinli Rivera and her 30 assists.  Makenzie Smith controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
North Kansas City's loss dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Oak Park, their record is now 9-12-2.
 North Kansas City didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  3-0  victory against Central on the 16th. As for Oak Park, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  match,  a  3-0  defeat against Park Hill on the 16th.
